Dear KABHA supporters,

Korean American Behavioral Health Association (KABHA) will be celebrating the 10^th Anniversary Banquet Symposium, on November 5th, 2011, between 5pm and 8pm. Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Samuel Noh, who is a Professor, and chair of the Diversity Committee in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is an internationally renowned scholar who has published numerous articles and books.

KABHA is the first and only Korean-American multidisciplinary mental health organization on the East Coast that comprises of psychiatrists, psychiatric/mental health nurses, social workers, psychologists, other mental health professionals, academic faculty, and students who are studying mental health specialty. Since its establishment on 2001, KABHA has been gaining significant visibility in the region through its free educational workshops, its involvement in numerous research projects, and its publications in professional journals and Korean periodicals in order to promote mental health awareness in Korean American community.

The KABHA?s 10^th Anniversary Banquet Symposium is a convivial party with Korean traditional folk dance and social and professional gatherings at which there is free interchange of ideas and vision of future Korean American mental health promotion.
